On 17th August we are excited to be taking part in the Greater Manchester Mayor’s Charity Bus Pull, where our senior leadership team will be put to the test in this gruelling physical challenge.
Throughout the day teams will be competing against each other to pull an 11,220 kg single decker bus over a course of 30 meters. The winning team will be crowned ‘Greater Manchester’s Strongest Team.’
The event has been organised to raise funds in support of pioneering work to prevent homelessness and will also support the ‘A bed every night’ programme.
The event will see public transport return for the first time in decades to the iconic vaulted arches of Manchester Central, once a busy central train station for the city. It looks like being a fun-filled event for a very worthy cause.
