For the second year, Edmonton Green Shopping Centre in North London has supported the Salvation Army in their local present appeal.

Shoppers are encouraged to purchase an extra gift which is then donated to a child / family / individual facing hardship. ASG have supported this with donations purchased for specific age groups.

Rebecca Bird, Retail Manager at Edmonton Green said: “As a shopping centre who puts the community at the heart of everything we do, we are trying to support as many local good causes as we can this winter and as always, we greatly appreciate the kindness and generosity of our shoppers.”

Simon Hawkins, ASG Operations Director, commented, “This is a great project and one we are 100% behind. The vicarious nature of the donations is very much in keeping with the Christmas spirit and we are all extremely proud to be a part of the fantastic work the team at Edmonton Green carries out in the community.”

If there is anyone needing the Salvation Army Edmonton’s help this Christmas, they are urged to get in touch via email Edmonton@salvationarmy.org.uk or telephone 0208 345 6687.
