We were delighted to have a visit from the next generation of Darlington children

Pictured above is Chris Stokoe (left), Security Supervisor and Gary Yates (right), Car Park Co-Ordinator from Cornmill Shopping Centre, Darlington with Northwood Primary School students whom were welcomed to the shopping centre as “Mini Helpers”.

The students aged 8-11 were given all areas access during their visit, and given presentations on the history of the Cornmill by Susan Young, Centre Manager and then a presentation on the role and responsibilities of Security Officers by Chris.

The Mini Helpers were then were then given the opportunity to see our full CCTV and access system within the Control Room and given the full use of internal radio communication’s along with being taken up onto the roof space which has a fantastic view of Darlington. Chris was very impressed with the CCTV operations of some of the students with one in particular who has a vision and aim of becoming a Police Officer.
